Getting hands-on experience as a full-time accounting assistant while a full-time student.
With her eyes on the CPA exam, Stephanie Nguyen keeps it all in balance.
At Fresenius Medical Care, she’s a full-time accounting assistant who manages fixed assets for several of the global healthcare company’s North American regions. In the evenings, she’s a full-time business student at the University of Holy Cross, and she works part time on the weekends as a hostess for a local restaurant. How does she find time for it all?
“It takes a lot of dedication, motivation and sacrifice,” Stephanie said. “I dedicate so much time and effort—but so do my classmates who have busy schedules, too. We commit ourselves to going to school and graduating.”
With graduation now in view, Stephanie is studying for the CPA exam and plans to get her master’s next.
